Trinity 24K Short Stack Brushless Motor (13.5T) REV1801 – Part One

I got lots of presents for Christmas like a force feedback steering wheel, a laptop with coding capabilities,(which is called a pi top) and much more but this is the one I wanted to talk about.

It’s called a rev tech 24k  short stack brushless  motor and its 13.5 turn because of the gt12 rules and restrictions.

It’s got a short stator (the stator is the can).also it has improved venting which helps power and reduces running temperatures. The motor weighs 159 Grams – 9 Grams Lighter than a D4! It’s got a 12.5mm high torque rotor and therefore I am going to try a roll out of 73mm/rev and timing on 40 degrees to start with. This is 5mm/rev more than I run with my Thunder Power, so I am hoping it will give me more top speed and I hope it won’t affect the punch as the motor’s more powerful.

Finally I am going to run my new spiral lipos for more torque and top speed throughout the 5 minutes.
